Fall break

We just finished an awesome fall break. Too short, but awesome nonetheless! We had last Thursday and Friday off school, and then the Columbus day holiday today.

I was determined to get some things done around the house, so we spent a half day at home on Thursday, but we made up for it the rest of the days. Activities included baking a new cookie recipe together, doing stickers (thank you Stacey), writing in our journals, meeting Dad for a picnic lunch, making necklaces, eating ice cream cones at MacDonalds, swimming at Fatu ma Futi, collecting blue starfish, trying to catch fish in a baseball cap, screaming when a 2ft eel jumped out of the water in front of us, swimming at Tisa’s beach, boogie boards with friends, amazing snorkeling, rope swing on the beach, eating banana chips, getting ice cream in the car on the way home, and watching our newest family home movies DVD before bed.

Back to school and work tomorrow. Seriously considering playing hookie…
