Song fest

Last Friday was our school’s Song Fest. With only 64 students in the whole school, and barely any resources, putting on any kind of performance is a challenge. We have combined classes at our school, and our biggest class is 10 students. I thought that the kids did a wonderful job.

Each class performed three songs from a musical, including Mary Poppins, The Sound of Music, Fiddler on the Roof, Singin’ in the Rain, and The Little Mermaid (for the Kindergarten and daycare kids) It was so much fun to watch. I have only included one video clip (Hannah in The Sound of Music) since this is the kind of thing only close friends or family really care about, but I did a slideshow of the evening too with some photos. The theme of the night was “Sing a Song”. Enjoy.
