New house before and afters

I finally have some before and after photos to show you of our new home. It took much longer to unpack and organize than I thought. The before pictures aren’t really fair. They were taken with all of the previous tenants belongings inside with no notice, so it’s pretty cluttered and messy. I’ve tried to make my photos look as nice as possible because mine normally look just as cluttered when toys and home school supplies are out everywhere. We didn’t really invest any money in decorating or making cute bedrooms or anything. We had to spend quite a bit on things that we needed instead like floor lamps (lighting is awful down here), bookshelves, chairs, entertainment center, a small freezer, and an electric frying pan (have you ever seen a stove top with only one large ring? I haven’t, and it’s impossible to cook for my family with only one!)

We were hesitant to rent this place when we saw the before photos, but when we saw it in person, we saw the vision! I don’t think we’ve ever made a better investment in paint than we did here, don’t you agree?

Enjoy the tour…

  1. You did an awesome job! It looks great!!

  2. Our duplex in Provo was a combo laundry room/bathroom but it was much smaller. I guess you could call it that, it had the washer & dryer in the bathroom as you walk in. Made it handy to do laundry…

  3. Awesome, Helen! Everything looks great.

  4. Looks great. Way to go!
